Performances

As an extension of their technique, performing opportunities are added to the student’s arsenal of knowledge. Here students learn how to maintain their knowledge of the technique and expand their individuality as dancers while performing challenging choreography in front of live audiences.
As a ballet student at Nolte Academy of Dance, you can take part in our annual full-length staging of The Nutcracker. This beautifully costumed production, performed with a live orchestra at Iowa City's historic Englert Theatre, is a highlight of our year.
