Nolte Academy year-end
performances & events
We host several events at the end of each year of classes. For 2022, we celebrated with:
• On Saturday, May 28 we hosted our youngest dancers -- Nolte's Creative Movement classes -- in our studio for a delightful and adorable first performance.
• On Tuesday, May 31 we congratulated our largest class of graduating seniors at our Senior Gala at The James Theater. It was a remarkable and moving night filled with dance and expression, a direct result of these amazing artists’ many years of effort! We hope you’re able to take in the talent of these kids who have been with Nolte anywhere from 3 to 15 years. Click here to view their Gala performances, along with tributes from that event. (Please note these dances may be a bit sensitive for the youngest of viewers.)
• On Friday, June 3 we enjoyed two sold-out Voice and Acting student performances at The James Theater. These tremendous students continue to exceed our wildest expectations in their presence onstage. We had returning Nolte actors and vocalists, along with many new faces as well — it’s a very exciting time to see our program growing and expanding with such humorous, expressive, and musical young artists!
• On Saturday, June 4 we hosted our inaugural Nolte Academy Visual Art Opening in Hancher’s lobby. It was on display all weekend, and we hope you had an opportunity to view these inspiring projects.
• On Saturday and Sunday, June 4-5 we hosted FOUR exceptional shows with our return to the Hancher stage. The Lost Art featured Dance and Musical Theatre performances from students ages 3 through graduating seniors. It was a theatrical experience we'll not forget!
