Danceworks auditions and rehearsals

​This Friday, December 13, Sarah Barragán will be auditioning and beginning rehearsals for Coppélia excerpts to be performed at Danceworks, two performances on Saturday April 25, 2020 at Liberty High School Auditorium. Danceworks is a Nolte production of classical ballet repertoire and original works. Coppélia auditions are for those in Ballet 3+.

There also is an opportunity for Ballet B, Ballet 1 and Ballet 2 dancers to audition with Sarah for excerpts from a ballet called The Circus - with dances for Poodles, Acrobats and Ponies. Auditions will be Saturday, January 4 from 2-2:30 pm.

Coppélia auditions are this Friday, December 13 at 6:30 pm at Nolte Academy. Registration with brief paperwork and number attachments begins at 5:45 pm. There is no need to register in advance. Rehearsal for some of the selected dancers will begin immediately following the audition. The rehearsal schedule for the next two weekends is below. Rehearsals for Coppélia will typically be held Fridays from 6-8:30 pm and Saturdays from 2-6 pm. Our younger age groups will have a set time scheduled each week for family convenience until we get to full run throughs beginning early April.

Additional pieces for Danceworks will be auditioned later in January. There are additional production/costume fees associated with these performances.
