ICon Trimester 2 registration now open

​Registration for program placement in Trimester 2 of our immersive arts-based education program -- Iowa Conservatory (ICon) is now open! We have limited spots for new students in each of our cohort groups that learn together in a safer, smaller class-size environment. If you are currently enrolled in Trimester 1 of ICon, you need not re-enroll. ICon is for all levels of students interested in arts education. Registration is open until 5 pm on Saturday, November 14. Please fill out this form to designate your interest in ICon. This form does not guarantee a spot in the program.

ICon offers a tailored fit for anyone choosing the online school option through ICCSD this year, or an alternative academic program. ICon is for families who place a high value on creative, collaborative, critical thinking and communication skills for students to become passionate and innovative leaders.

ICon Calendar
ICon is offered by trimesters to align with the ICCSD education options. Trimester 2 will run from November 30-March 5. Trimester 3 begins March 8.

For 14 weekly hours of instruction:

For 7 weekly hours of instruction:

Students desiring two focus areas may enroll in two 2-day sections for the same fee as 4-day.
 
Additional Notes

• Cohorts will be built on age, skill and commitment level.
• ICon is a trimester commitment and in-person instruction only.
• You are welcome to be a part of ICon and also register for Nolte Academy in-person or virtual classes to supplement your arts education. 
• There is a supply list per focus group, with investment not to exceed $200.
• There are limited spots for each section and within each focus group. We will close sections as we reach capacity.
• Availability of focus groups are subject to change based on enrollment numbers.

 
Safety Precautions

• Cohort groups (10-12 students) will remain together during each session. 
• Masks are required for students and staff until further notice. 
• Students will be working in distanced spaces as allowed, but not always socially distanced.
• The building is equipped with the most robust Lennox UV light systems to each of our air circulation units (cooling and heating) to help purify the air.
• Sharing of food and beverages is not permitted.
