This weekend, four students from Fryvecind Voice Studio, housed within Nolte Academy and instructed by Mia Fryvecind Gimenez, competed in Central Regional NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). All four advanced to the semi-finals!  The students, from left, are Lauren Rude, Ian Allen, Niyati Deshpande and Katey Halverson. Each of these singers had spectacular performances! Lauren received an honorable mention and both Ian and Katey took first place in male and female high school musical theater categories, respectively! This regional competition includes students from Iowa, Illinois and Missouri.
